Vice President


About

Dr. Stacy Ebert currently serves as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Alvin Community College. She maintains working relationships with Texas Legislature and policy makers,  local elected officials, and federal legislatures and policy makers. Dr. Ebert works with local/regional partners in business and industry to help advance policy development, innovative institutional practices, and identify opportunities to expand and/or strengthen the College. 

Dr. Ebert received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Michigan University and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic. Dr. Ebert is a licensed Chiropractor and was in private practice for over 12 years prior to accepting a position at Alvin Community College. While in practice, Dr. Ebert was also an adjunct instructor at Texas College of Chiropractic and Alvin Community College. She has instructed Biology, A&P, Pathology, Kinesiology, Business & Ethics, Nutrition and Cardio-Kickboxing.

Pursuing her passion for education, Dr. Ebert joined Alvin Community College full-time, in 2009, as the Massage Therapy Coordinator. She has continued her career in successive leadership roles as Director of CEWD Allied Health, Director of Allied Health Technical Programs, and served as Dean, Legal and Health Sciences. Dr. Ebert served as interim Vice President of Instruction for six months in 2022 and was appointed Vice President of Strategic Initiatives in September 2022.
