
Christopher Beardsall is the Dean for Academic Success at St. Philip’s College within the Alamo Colleges District, where he has served in administrative and instructional roles for over a decade. He joined the college’s administration in 2014 after several years as a full-time faculty member and Assistant Professor in the Auto Collision and Refinishing Technology program.
Mr. Beardsall brings more than 15 years of industry experience in automotive collision and refinishing, having begun his career as a full-time technician in San Antonio. He transitioned into higher education while earning his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Texas at San Antonio and later completed a Master of Education from Schreiner University. He has also pursued doctoral studies in Organizational Leadership.
As a higher education leader, Mr. Beardsall has over 12 years of experience in career and technical education (CTE), including oversight of multiple academic programs and administration of the Perkins Basic Grant. He has played a key role in expanding workforce pathways through initiatives such as Credit for Prior Learning agreements with industry partners and apprenticeship programs, helping students accelerate progress toward associate degrees.
