Executive Director

Dr. Lesley Keeling-Olson currently serves as the Project Manager and the WECM Workshop Coordinator for the Kilgore College IAC for CTE Course Maintenance. Lesley retired from Temple College in 2025. Her tenure at Temple College included the Department Chair of Criminal Justice, Division Director of Business and Career Professions Division, Perkins Basic Grant Administrator, and Director of Perkins Grants.

Lesley earned her Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University before pursuing two Associates degrees in Criminal Justice at Temple College. Her academic journey continued with a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University and a Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

A dedicated advocate for non-traditional genders in CTE, Lesley brings firsthand experience in the criminal justice field. She is passionate about Perkins initiatives and specializes in improving Perkins Core Indicators. Currently, Lesley led a Perkins Leadership Grant focused on Perkins Special Populations. Under her guidance, Texas Perkins Basic Grant Directors have comprehensive guides for each category of Special Populations.

Lesley is married to Nick who is a firefighter and fire investigator. They have two daughters, one who just graduated from Baylor and one who is a Junior at Baylor, which means they spend the bulk of their fun time in Waco, TX, enjoying Baylor events.
